Business Description
Jubilations makes hand-made, gourmet cheesecakes targeted for mail order consumer gifts, business gifts, and fundraising. Jubilations has moved from its farmhouse roots to a commercial facility and expanded its marketing to upscale restaurants and specialty retailers.


Challenge
In 1983, founder Tammy Craddock began selling her handmade gourmet cheesecakes from her farmhouse kitchen in Columbus, Mississippi. Through local demand and growing popularity, Craddock soon expanded her business to a commercial facility. To get a better handle on outgoing sales to various business channels, Jubilations formalized a CRM strategy in 2001.


At first, the cheesecake merchant focused on managing data stored in multiple locations through a rudimentary marketing automation solution. However, redundant and scattered data created tremendous difficulty managing sales and customer interactions. With more than 50 percent of Jubilations' volume being sold via a third-party distributor, and the volume of sales steadily increasing, the company had no way to track and maintain contact with its end customers: caterers and restaurants. Another significant challenge was that Jubilations couldn't accurately measure and report on its customer outreach campaigns.  In need of a complete tool that would allow them to track and maintain its current and prospective contacts, as well as results of sales calls, Jubilations decided to implement Salesnet's solution.
